Our Girls

Tierney Girls

Our girls are beloved members of our family and live at home with us. We are dedicated to participating in as many confirmation shows as possible and actively train our girls in scent work and draft. Our ultimate goal is to achieve the prestigious BMDCA Versatility Dog title for both.

We take health and genetic testing very seriously. All our dogs undergo OFA certifications for hips, elbows, eyes, and heart. In addition, we test for DM (Degenerative Myelopathy) genetic markers, including SOD1-A (exon 2) and SOD1-B (exon 1). Aster has also been screened using the Histiocytic Sarcoma Genetic Risk Test.

Transparency and thoroughness are core values of our breeding program. All health clearances for our dogs, along with their pedigrees, are registered in Berner-Garde, making them easily accessible for verification. While no dog is perfect, I strive to make informed and responsible decisions in my breeding practices, always prioritizing the well-being and future of the breed.
